About the Event
On Dec. 28, Ujamaa, the fourth day of Kwanzaa, Awon Ohun Omnira will open a ‘Celebration of Family, Community and Culture’ with a program honoring the ancestors at the Hayward City Hall Rotunda, 777 B St., from 12 noon -2 p.m.
The day continues until 5 p.m. with the California Griot Storytellers and a presentation of the Sankofa Lifetime Achievement Awards.
