Awon Ohun Omnira will perform at the 19th Annual Oakland Juneteenth at 12 noon. We will do a portion of Oro Egun – the offering to the ancestors sung in Yoruba and accompanied by Bata drums – and a portion of the Ring Shout, an African American cultural tradition.
